Please note that the Royal Berkshire Archives will be closed to the public for annual stocktaking from Monday 24th November to Friday 5th December 2025. Enquiries will continue to be processed during this time. The searchroom will reopen to visitors on Tuesday 9th December. 

The RBA will also be closed from Wednesday 24th December 2025 to Thursday 1st January 2026 for Christmas and New Year. Enquiries will not be responded to during this time. The service will reopen on Friday 2nd January.
